I've had that happen.  WD-40 and dish soap will take it out- along with a little elbow grease.  The instructions are on the crayola website.  Just be sure to check the inside of your dryer.  I had some melted to the inside of the drum and it ended up getting on the next load as well.

I've also thrown my cell phone through the washer.  I couldn't figure out what on earth that blue light going round and round with the clothes was.  It actually still works- it just took a few weeks to dry out. 

Sadly, on both occasions it was my pockets the items were in- I always check the kids.
That is quite funny. My son has thrown cell phones in the wash with the
clothes before. Needless to say, they dont work so well after that. oh that sux!!! i have had ink pen go through the dryer. im just glad it was at the laundromat!! hopefully no one see your husbands shirt!!!haha..............

I had to laugh. Jon left a red crayon in his shorts. Unfortunately, he put them in the washer with our white clothes. (I bleach their khaki shorts). When the clothes came out of the dryer we had what looked like blood over EVERYTHING!! No matter what I did it wouldn't come out. I couldn't affort all new white things so my State Trooper husband is wearing his splattered white undershirts under his uniforms. Just hoping nothing happens where anyone sees them. It looks like he has been through the war!!
