Starting new school yr on right foot | ADHD Information

Congratulations! My son is doing well on the Vyvanse as well. What a difference!, good for him (and you). Happy things are working out, it's the BEST feeling!

I just have to share some good news.  My ds Chris is 7 and just started first grade.  We started him on Vyvance 30mg a week before school started and he has brought home happy faces on his daily reports every day since the 1st day of school.  YEAH!!!!!!!!  We are on the 4th week of school now.  I have spoken with his teacher this year and she knew him last year in Kindergarden and she said he is a completely different kid from last year.  He listens in class and can focus on his work.  He has homework every day and we are able to sit down at 6PM at night and still focus on schoolwork. 

More good news is that he is actually eating.  He wakes up in the morning starving.  I have not heard from the teachers that he is throwing his lunch away like he was doing last year.  Then when he gets home from school at 2:30 he is hungry again.  Then he wants a snack before dinner and then will eat again when we eat dinner.  Then he is hungry again before bed.  I am so excited...

It seems like our lives are finally settling down.  Thank goodness.  Just wanted to share my good news.
