concerta | ADHD Information
My son was put on concerta about 4 days ago. He was on medadate but
it wasn't working anymore and the dr. didn't want to increase the dose, so
we chose to switch. It really seems to be helping alot. It lasts longer that
the two doses for metadate and his behavior has improved so much.
The problem here is I have noticed that during the day and alot in the
evenings he seems to be crossing his eyes. It's really alarming as seeing
it's not like he's trying to do so, but it seems to be involuntary. Could
this be a side effect of the concerta. He is 4.
Could be a tic. Keep an eye on it, occasionally tics pass after the child adjusts to the med. Worth mentioning to the doctor if it persists. My daughter has an eye roll tic that comes nad goes on stims.
