It also may not be teh right med for him. We had some success on Concerta for about a week or week and a half, then son had a HUGE meltdown. Our doc wanted to up it, but we were afraid to do it. We then switched to Vyvanse, which has been good so far, although we're still testing dosages.
I'd give the Concerta a bit more time -- they're not going to be perfect every day and something else could have affected him. But don't be afraid to ask for a med change if you don't think its working the way it should. That's why there are so many different options and you never know which one is the best for your son. Good luck!
