anyone have this | ADHD Information

Sorry this is long, but i am losing sleep.

My daughter is 7yo in second grade.  History:  she has a receptive/expressive lang delay along with a pragmatic delay, and scored low on the Berry Buktenica test of visual motor integration (VMI) she also has horrible memory recall.  she went thru a plethara of tests last year (neuropsychologist and a developmental peds.)  DX: she has ADHD, speech issues and OT issues.  she also has anxiety, due in part to the meds she takes for the adhd (now it is focalin xr) and her anxiety is better, but on the vyvanse it was thru the roof. (we tried several anti anxiety meds and it only complicates things more.)

she scored in the low average range on the WISC-IV.  and in the average range for all but broad math (low average) on the woodcock-johnson III tests of achievement.  Her iq is in the low average range but her neuro physchologist thinks it is probably a bit higher in the middle average range, due to her lack of attention during the testing.

she has an iep (OHI) this year (life saver).  they are behavioral goals but she we were able to get her a para pro in the gen ed class (academics only), as well as the sped teacher checks on her everyday.  she is in the lowest reading group, and scored poorly on the oral retelling portion of the diebls test.  this allows for her to have a reading specialist (small group) twice a day for about 25 min a piece (one of these 25 min sessions they work on spelling words and vocab words, the other they focus on reading comprehension and fluency), along with her regular reading.  so she is getting about 90 min of reading 4-5 days a week.  she is stuggling in every subject in class (except pe, art and music )  She sees the speech teacher twice a week.  one day they work on social skills the other day they work on using words in a sentence (they are using her spelling words and vocab from the class, i am very greatfull for this).  she also get some OT services for her handwriting at 60 min/month.

At home she has a speech therapist we see in a clinical setting once a week, and we are trying like crazy to get a private OT (we have an eval on 9/23.) (Anyone in the N. Phoenix area looking for work, give me a call!)

Wow alot of history.

So I have three questions.

Does anyone have a child with visual motor integration issues?  and what effect has therapy had on them?

I am greatful for the extra support from the shcool.  But if she doesn't have an LD why is she qualify for all the extra academic help?

And finally, if she doesn't have an LD now, if she falls far enough behind in school, can she develop one later on?

any help would be appreciated.
