Great Day!I thought that I would mainly come here for advice with issues but today I just need to boast! According to my ds teacher yesterday was "one of his best days ever". He not only completed all of his daily work but all of his make up work from last week. His behavior was great and he was very cooperative. (FYI...he was with the vice principal for a portion of the day on Monday.) He even had a great night at home. He usually has major struggles with homework and needs to take a break every 5 minutes. Well last night he did 1 math paper (20 problems), a 20 word spelling pretest and had to draw two pictures for a project AND read for 15 minutes then wrote 3 sentences on what he wrote. This was about an hour of straight work. Not ONCE did he complain, ask for a break or become frustrated. He just went through it and his printing was even neat!!! I praised him to the high heavens and then told him to go have 15 min of extra computer time for a job well done. He was so proud of himself and I was proud of him too! Sure would be great if today and tonight go just as well! Either way I am glad yesterday was such a good day for him. DS- 9 years old- ADHD/Anxiety Glad to hear your ds had a great day. I've been having them with my ds since we changed his meds. I go to lunch with ds once a week since we've switched and the teachers are coming up to me saying how he has changed. Good for you.
