He’s going to be alright | ADHD Information

My dear son has been having a hard time. He's going through a nightmare phase. He dreams I'm going to die. It's been hard for him and me. Neither of us has slept for the past two weeks.

Well, the other night after he woke up from another nightmare I was so tired I told him to go to bed. The next morning he woke with a big grin. "I slept great."

I asked him why, he said I was so scared and didn't know what to do so I decided to pray about it. Then he said he decided to talk about his nightmare to God, but stopped because it was even past God's bedtime.

I'm not religous. It's hard taking two ADHD boys to church. So we go when we can. But I just feel that he understands that he doesn't control everything on this earth and when he can't rely on mom and dad to take the nightmares away, he can rely on God.

Was about to sign out when I saw your post.

Its sweet your son is praying to God, I want to mention that first. And it being past Gods bedtime, hehe, how adorable.

Now medically, I read an article on Dr Mercola's site about ADD and dreams (including nightmares I think) .... being related to a vitamin B 6 deficiency. Anyway, its worth looking into.

Am tired! Goodnight. :)
