When is it time for a med change? | ADHD Information

I'm curious, are there signs that your child needs a different dosage or medication? My DD is on Methilyn ER 10 mg. She has been on it for almost a year. She was doing fine on it, until recently. Her impulsiveness seem to be coming back, so to speak. I am not sure if we need to change her medication, or if there's something else going on?

  My daughter also takes methylin ER. 10mg early am and 10mg early afternoon. We saw some increase in symptoms recently also, so we just saw the doc and he raised her early am dose to 20mg and stayed with the 10mg at noon. Worked like a charm. She's been better and still no side effects from the methylin. She takes her stim conjunction with strattera though and we also tweaked that, actually dropped the dose and split it so she'd be more evenly covered over as much time as possible. I think upping the stim made the most difference though.
