how do you find educational specialists? | ADHD Information

Are you looking for one for yourself? I know that my college keeps two or three on staff in the Services to Students with Disabilities office. hi,

i am a school teacher with ADHD but i live in shanghai!

sorry not sure if you are looking for yourself or a kid but i reckon that if you cannot find any on the net or through your doc THEN contact a local school and ask if they have any contacts for their Special Ed kids.

sorry, im not sure if your looking for yourself or a kid but i reckon that if you cant find any on the internet or through your doctor then try contacting private local psychologists who might know one OR contact local education institutions like schools or colleges. these will have lists for their special ed kids...

alex I live in green bay and cannot find any. what do you search for on the internet or phone book to find them?i refuse to stupe to the level of saying i have a disibility and also i am not willing to wait a decade thats why i droped out. people with disabilitys waste tax payer money hi Lizard_King,

yeah, i had to wait ages to see an edu psych! but actually the disability office at my uni were quite helpful... but i understand your position.

Okay well that was quite offensive, thanks. I was trying to point out the most appropriate and helpful place to find resources if you happen to be in post-secondary studies, that's all. Some schools simply call it the student resource centre or something along those lines. It's generally student fees, not taxes, that pay for such things, and going through the school ensures that you don't have to wait a gadzillion years.
