itching from ritalin??? | ADHD Information

If you are having an allegic reaction to the ritalin definately stop taking it. If you want to try adderall xr again maybe a higher dose would help. 10mg is an extremely small dose most people feel no effects or only a slight improvement on that dose. It is usually a starter dose to get you adjusted to the meds. Most folks only last on Adderall XR 10mg for about a week before they need to be bumped up. Rememeber it's extended release so at 10mg you are only getting 5mg at a time.

i have developed some tiny pin head sized bumps on my legs, tummy and upper back since starting ritalin.

my dr. thinks they are a form of hives and suggest i stop it for a week but i am afraid to do that (see post below from me).

i am enjoying feeling happy and loving towards my dh!  she thinks i should go back on adderall xr but it seemed that wore off within three days of taking it on 10 mgs...

any help appreciated!
