what does he weigh?
An IEP is an Individualized Educational Plan. It's abig deal, you'd know if you had one. You'd have met with a whole team and set up goals and accomodations for him and it would all be put into this legal document. You should call the Special Ed director for your district and discuss.
I think last year (well March of this year) I had went that route.I had to have a huge meeting with a bunch of school board members and special ed teachers just to get him approved to go into this program.I do remember them suggesting that he not be placed back into a reguler classroom setting until certain goals were met.So maybe we did.I will try to contact people who would know what to do.Do you think I should talk to his doctor about a medicine change?Strattera dosage sounds too low.i think his meds need to be re-visited. Not sure if they are the right ones or if the doseage needs to be increased, not sure which one however. I bet that is why the teacher made the comment that he is back to his old ways, meds are working like they used to.If it were me, I would do both.
