UPDATE!!!!! | ADHD Information

Thanks to all of you who have shown your support. I took my dd to a new dr yesterday. When I got there, I was given 2 forms to fill out, both questionnaires about behavior. This is the first time I've done this since she was 1st diagnosed almost 5 years ago! The office staff told me I would need to fill out the short question form everytime I bring her in. Let me tell you, having to fill out those forms really made me think and realize that her behavior has been going downhill for a while, it's just been so gradual I didn't realize it!

Anyway, this dr took his time to talk to me and address my concerns about the family history of bipolar, and made me realize that this is not an issue right now. He did up her dosage of Vyvanse, from 30 to 50. He even gave me a paper listing the possible side effects to look for. Let me tell you, this is the first time I feel like a dr has really listened to me! He even gave me a chance to ask questions. No one has ever done this before, and it made me realize that her other dr was not taking the time to fully treat her.

Great news. It makes a difference when you have a good doc.
