Back to front speech? Whats happening?

Hey all,

its been ages since I've posted on here cos I havea new job as a nursery assistant! Hooray!

I have an increasingly annoying habit of muddling my letters up when I speak. for EG clue boat instead of blue coat or the other day, I couldn't say red cheeks, only cheek red or peek chinks. Its worse when I'm tired, but it never used to be this bad!

I was thinking about asking for an update on my dosage of Concerta XL as it seems to be wearing off, but could my meds be making it worse? The only side effect that I have expereienced is weight loss, but its not a bad thing as i needed to shift a few pounds! I'm going to make a meal plan chart to make sure I'm eating enough!

I'm on 36mg Concerta

hmm, I have never heard about those kind of speech issues in relation to ADHD... you might want to talk to your dr. about that... good luck, and congrats on your job! a nursery sounds like a great place to work! That's a different cognitive dysfunction related to aphasia I think.

Have you had any head injuries? If not--you need to get this checked out by a neurologist. Seriously.
