Week long patch?? | ADHD Information

A friend of mine has an ADHD son who is on a week long patch, I think it starts with a "C", can anyone tell me what the name of it is?  I'd ask her but she is out of state with her son right now going through some major surgeries.  We have a psych appt in two weeks for our DS6 who is currently on Daytrana and I wanted to do some research on this week long patch before we go, I may be interested in trying it.  I tried Googling ADHD patch and of course the only thing that came up was Daytrana.  We love Daytrana but we are finding that the morning booster of Methlyn that we use is no longer effective and he is at the strongest dose for his weight/age, so we're thinking the patch that lasts a whole week may be something to look into.  It would be nice to avoid any period of transition time.Clonidine comes in a patch form but I don't know about for a week.  Ask your doctor.it is clonidine, its called catapres. My son was on that and it was wonderful but unfortunately he got a bad skin reaction and we had to stop giving it to him.
