I just had to share something with ya'll. Last week my dear mother died. My son and I found her in her home. It has been a very difficult week for me emotionally. My son who has ad/hd has been so good and compassionate. I can not begin to express how much he was there for me and all of the other family members. His hugs, smiles, child like comments kept us all at peace.
Then today he was a jewel as well. He went shopping with my brother and me and was such a trooper. Not even a child without the extra energy and impulsive behaviors would of been happy spending the day with two older people such as my big bro and myself.
I'm truely blessed and thank God for the special young man that entered my life 7 years ago on Christmas morning. His ad/hd is nothing compared to his compassion and loving heart for others.
I am very sorry for your loss. Losing a parent never can be easy, but it must be especially difficult when you are the one to make the discovery. It also probably is hard that this is holiday time. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family.
Your son sounds like a very special person.

Hugs to youThank you everyone...I am fortunate to have my little one. His birthday is tomorrow and of course is a little excited about tomorrow as a whole. He deserves to have his special day. My mom was a special lady and loved Christmas Eve. My brother and family are coming over tonight and we plan on making this a special evening just as my mom and dad would of liked for us to do.
