Family trifecta | ADHD Information

   Yup, just got the diagnosis, I am now 3 for 3. My daughter who will be 7 on valentines day is dx with adhd inattentive. I have a 10 year old boy adhd inattentive, an 8 year old boy with big time adhd very hyper and also aspergers and now my baby girl. This is not a surprise, she has had issues since preK. We were all waiting for her"immaturity" to get better, ya right. She acts like a 20 year old most of the time. Soooo, starting meds with her and I have to switch my 8 year old, Strattera is very bad for him and his pdoc really wants to try him on Provigil and I think the insurance company is coming around! Thank you for this wonderful place to vent!!!!!!!!!!BTW my husband, brother, cousin, mother all have adhd. I wish I did so I could keep up..Sethsmom, I say welcome and you ave found the right place. There is alot of good information and some really nice people supporting you. If I counted right you have 3 kids with ADHD, honey you are a godsend.I have 1 10 year old DS  that is not stablilized on his meds yet. And I can barely manage him.  I love him dearly but I don't sleep at night, am anxious all day, not being able to move.Hi sethsmom1. It sounds like you have your hands full but your getting exellent treatment for your family and your on the right track. We are always here any time you want support or need to vent. Hugs to you  Yes, 3 kids AND a husband with adhd!!! I have some serious anxiety issues, but my doctor gives me a lovely prescription for ambien when I need it!! I also am having a very hard time with my middle one and meds. He has been taking them for a few years and has been an ongoing problem.
