Possible Cause | ADHD Information




	Possible Cause This is just my theory on a possible cause for ADHD. They have indicated we are more like our hunter gatherer fore fathers and I think this is true. From what I've seen, it is usually the expression of our ancient DNA that is coming through. When parents of different nationalities have mixed children you get two different DNA maps the developing child has to deal with. If the DNA is far enough apart, the body chooses the most common denominator and using our stored ancient DNA experssions from when the different cultures were closer together, forms a person who would have been well equiped to deal with the ancient world. The hunter gatherer DNA would be from around 5000 years ago when agriculture started. I developed this idea when our dentist indicated one of the first things they learned in dental school was people who were not of mixed race generally did not have to have their wisdom teeth removed. Their teeth were based on the same map as the jaws they fit into. The introduction of agriculture would make all the ADHD traits unnecessary because you would no longer have to outsmart animals to survive. The mundane daily toil of planting crops and preparing for the winter months would take over from the thrill of the hunt and matching wits with animals and man. We had to adjust to a different lifstyle and as time went by with many fammines which took the smartest of our kind and spared those who used fewer calories to stay alive, most of us lost our cunning and wit. Some believe ADHD people have a form of autisum. It is clear we do not think the same way most people do and from what I understand it probably has to do with the same part of the brain, the frontal lobe. I believe we just do not have enough imput in our lives. The world does not move fast enough for us. Sitting at a desk in a classroom or office or standing behind a counter is not what we were made for and the society thinks something is wrong with us because they created a world we do not fit in. In the 1940s a group of doctors wanted to steralize people with ADHD to prevent them from reproducing and infecting the rest of society. The funny thing is everyone has the repressed DNA and you can not remove it from humans.The only way to prevent it would be to require no intermixing of nationallities, French with French German with German and so on. It is part of what we are and can not be prevented unless we stop having children. Even preventing crossing of nationalities would not prevent the random chance of an ADHD person due to environmental stress, illness or some other event. I wondered as a child, why it always seemed to be mixed breed dogs were the smartest. I imagine the same theory applies. Domesticated dogs do not have to be as smart as their relatives the European Gray Wolf and mixing the breeds brings out the ancient DNA. One last thing I would like to say, the term (Beat him like a red headed step child) has always perplexed me. I imagine an ADHD child who you couldn't control or understand would make you crazy.
