newly diagnosed | ADHD Information

hi everyone

 

im a new poster my name is Carol i live in the united kingdom, i have two children with special needs, one with adhd/aspergers,conduct disorder and the other with adhd and tourettes, my husband has tourettes and at the ripe age of 45 i have been diagnosed  with ADHD.

 

to say im in shock is an understatement, even though ive known all my life i seem different to a lot of people i had no idea why, even though i have two kids with special needs i still didnt make the connection with my own behaviour/personality, in a way it is a relief like a coming - home to know this information

this has been a very bad year for me i have also been diagnosed with diverticular disease which i find quite frightening and in May of this year my sister died suddenly of acute alcohol poisoning, the coroner doesnt know if it was accidental or suicide, 

my request to other people reading this is to pray for me i would be very grateful as im a very anxious person anyway and it would be very comforting to know people prayed for me

Hi Cazpumpkin!

     I hope this New year brings you good fortune and health for you and your family.  I will certainly pray for you.  And I hope that does give you some sort of comfort to know people are wishing you the best.
