My 6 year old in getting ready to start Risperdal and I want to get some feedback from others who have used it. This is 5th drug we are trying. We have tried 2 types of stimulants that had a very negative effect, Stratta (had no effect), and Tenex (very little effect). My son is ADHD and in Kindergarten. He is very aggressive and has a big problem at school with hitting and kicking other kids. Infact he has already been suspended once. Needless to say we dread picking him up from school. Not only do we get a bad report on a daily base but the other parents hate him are wanting him out of the class. (Thank God for IEPs)
