clonidine question | ADHD Information

my son's dr started him on clonidine yesterday, he wants him to take 1/2 pill at bedtime for 3 days then start on a whole pill, he mentioned either take the whole pill at bedtime or do 1/2 in the morning and the other 1/2 at bed. but the dr did'nt say which option was better. any others had this with this med?we take clonidine to help with sleep issues (though I
know SOME children who need it to help control impulses,
etc...)

so we take 2 pills (for a total of .2mg) at night. I'm
not sure it really helps ...
