Unless something has changed in the last month, Vyvanse does come in 40 mgs pills.  My son was on 80 mgs (he is a fast metabolizer).  He took two 40 mgs pills in the morning. He was on Vyvanse for over a year, and it just lost its effectiveness so we had to move on to something new.  If you go out to Walgreen's website and search for Vyanse, it will show you all the doses that it comes in.   Good luck!
