I too am going to increase my son, however, i want to do it over the summer. Post us any updates!!yes, it did not sound right. Jessica N39943.8972800926

Keep us informed. I am glad the doctor changed meds asap!!

Let us know how you make out!!

Thanks for the responses but after two days I don't think this medicine is the right one.  At first I was happy she was playing with the cups but that is all she did all day long.  I tried to get her out of her room but she kept stacking cups and pushing them over and doing it again.  She also started this whistling sound which I know is a tic when the medicine wears off it stops.

Then today we went to her cousin's house and she was in the basement all by herself for most of the day making a doll out of paper for her cousin.  We kept checking on her but she kept saying she has to finishe this doll.  She was also making the whistling sound.  Then when the medicine started to wear off she played with her cousins but then she was impulsive and mean to them.

I left messages with her doctor but he doesn't check his messages on the weekend so I have to wait to talk to him until tomorrow.  Should I continue to give her the medicine?

I wouldn't drop a med without a doctor's approval. But I wouldn't wait either
- call the after hours service and ask for advice from the doctor on call.
Also, if you call, the symptoms you're describing will go on record.

My son had a bad reaction to a medicine, and they said it was building up in
him and it would have kept getting worse if it wasn't stopped. Most likely
there won't be permanent damage, but if this is a bad med, the longer she
takes it the longer it will take for the symptoms to go away. And still, it
would only be a couple more days for it to completely leave her system.

Ok, it is monday, the doctor will call back.

Post what happens, doesn't sound quite right!!

I just talked to the doctor and he wants me to try Focalin XR 5 mg.  He said she had an extreme reaction to the medicine.
