need answer ASAPI believe that they have over stepped their bounds!! At our elementary school, the teacher couldn't even come up and tell me he needed an increase. She could only tell me if he had a good day or not and that was like talking in code with her!! But it worked. this is all confidential information. I am shocked to read what happened!! I would call somebody, school principal, superintendant, etc. Something is very wrong here!! I am so sorry this has happend to your poor son. Did you sign a release form authorizing them to call the doctor? If not, I don't believe that they can call the doctor. If you signed it, I'm sure there's a way to revoke it. Submit a dated letter in writing that you are revoking that permission. The doctor also needs to have been given permission to speak with the school. If you did not sign a form authorizing that permission, the doctor should not speak to the school about your child even if they call him/her. |
