medication and alcohol | ADHD Information

I have heard different things from different people. Some people say no you
can't have any medicine when on a stimulant. Most people say you won't die
or anything but you have to watch how much you drink because you will not
notice the effect as much or it will take you longer to notice it because one
is a depressant and one is a stimulant. I'd really like to know straight up if I
am going to an event with alcohol and would like to drink but have taken
medicine, can I? I think the best person to ask would be a pharmacist but common sense would tell me that if I have to ask that question, the answer is probably "no".  Just because an event has alcohol, it doesn't mean I have to consume.  I can just say I don't want to.  No explanations needed and there'll be at least one person who'll respect my decision (provided I stick to it) I'd ask your dr. or a pharmacist.  Don't worry about going somewhere where there's alcohol and not drinking.  People will assume you're the driver or something similar.  You won't look bad!Yeah, I'm not worried about not drinking, I'd just rather drink. I ended up
drinking and I felt fine, so I guess it doesn't matter too much. I generally
don't take medicine on the weekends and then it is not a problem but it is
close to the end of the year and i have a lot to do so I had to take it.
