does anyone take adderall xr twice a day? | ADHD Information

MY DR. PUT ME ON IT TWICE A DAY BECAUSE IT WAS WEARING OFF EARLY EVENING LATE AFTERNOON AND I WAS FEELING THE EFFECTS OF IT WEARING OFF WITH RAVAGE HUNGER PANGS AND HEADACHES..NOW I HAVE NEITHER BUT STILL  AM HUNGRY ALL THE TIME ANYWAYS DURING THE DAY BUT NOT LIKE I WAS WHEN IT WORE OFF WHICH WAS AWFUL AND I COULD NOT STOP EATING THEN!Instead of taking the XR apart, you should try taking both in the morning to get the full effect to work for 8 hours.  Talk to your doctor before increasing any dose.  I found that XR works much better taking it together, try adding a regular release for the evening.

i DO NOT UNDERSTAND THIS ONE AT ALL!  I SEEN MY DR. TODAY AND TOLD HER THAT I WAS NOT FEELING TOO MUCH ON ADDERALL XR 10 MGS AND I STARTED ON MY OWN 20 MGS TWO DAYS AGO.

I'VE  HAD A TON OF BODY TENSION STUFF WHERE MY BODY FEELS LIKE IT IS ONE BIG KNOTTED MASS.  I KNOW I WOULD OF NEEDED TO GET USE TO IT AGAIN BUT INSTEAD SHE PUT ME ON ADDERALL XR 10 MGS TWO TIMES A DAY!

I DO NOT UNDERSTAND HOW THAT WHEN I TAKE ONE 10 MGS AND IT DOES NOTHING FOR ME, HOW ON EARTH WILL TAKING 1 TEN MGS IN THE A.M.AND ANOTHER 10 MGS 6 HOURS LATER DAY WILL DO ANYTHING.

CAN ANYONE EXPLAIN THIS LOGIC CAUSE I JUST DO NOT GET IT!

**T**  is  right.  You will find that you have to try to gently educate and guide your doc, as you have probably done more research on adult add that he/she.  That is what I have found.  If you can't relate or communicate, or he is not open to trying reasonable things, such as **T**  has suggested, you should shop around for another doc.  All docs are different, this is not rocket science.  Good luck.
