adderall frustration | ADHD Information

new here, recently given a script for adderall xr 10mg with followup adderall 10mg at 2pm.
day two now.
day 1: noticed a difference within 10min and it reduced the noise of distraction by about 40%. that lasted all of about 2 1/2 hrs. I waited until 1:30pm took the std adderall, that lasted 45mins. the rest of the day was normal me, how fun and frustrating.

Zero side effects

day 2: morning dosage effective at about 25% and lasted about 2hrs.

debating weather or not to even bother continuing at this point. I've called and left msgs with my doc but have not heard back. I'm not going to adjust my dosage on my own.

I just don't care for the tease of getting some relief only to have it go away, as you know it's not a good feeling going back when you know how much better it can be.

hopefully my doc will get back to me soon.

really wish I had decided to do something about this 20yrs ago.
