Anyone ever used Imipram?? | ADHD Information

Hello all - long time since I last posted but I am back!!

My older son's specialist has prescriped Imipram for his
insomnia. He has no problems going to sleep but wakes
MULTIPLE times a night to use the bathroom (which we're
glad for, he's recently pottytrained FINALLY at 10years
old!). BUT, the frequent use of the bathroom is severely
disrupting his sleep and oftentimes, he just never goes
back to sleep. (this morning he was up at 2:30am!)

So - our hope is the Imipram will be sedating enough
(along with the clonidine) to help him stay asleep all
night PLUS have the added benefit of keeping him from
having to pee so much at night-time.

Any experience?
