Just wondering how many of you parents have issues with your adhd child lying? Dd lies about some stuff that totally doesn't even sound believable. Its to the point where its hard to believe anything she says...sad but true.I don't deal with that issue, BUT, I have read posts from others, who say the same thing - the child honestly believes what they are saying, even though it is not true!Yes I deal with this. My son is 7 and diagnosed with ADHD and dyspraxia. He will say he didn't do something he did or that his behavior at school was perfect when his teacher's comments say otherwise. At times he does seem to believe what he is saying.
