Generic Adderall: brand vs. dose mistake? | ADHD Information
My name is Anthony, first time poster. Was hoping someone could help me.
I was prescribed 20mg of Generic Adderall once a day. I had my prescription filled at a local Walmart Pharmacy and they gave me "BLUE" pills made by BARR. When I went to get my script refilled the following month, they gave me "ORANGE" pills made by BARR. The thing is...BARR doesn't make "BLUE" 20mg tablets. And now the orange pills don't work nearly as well as the blue ones did.
The blue pills had the EXACT same size and shape as the orange ones, only difference was the color (and efficiency). I can't figure out if the blue pills were a different generic (pharmasist said they only carry Barr) OR...if they made a mistake and gave me the 10mg or 15mg pills made by Barr (which are both blue and have the same size/shape as the orange ones)?
Could it be that if indeed they've made a mistake and gave me the wrong strength that a lower dosage works better for me, because the blue ones work REALLY WELL....or that I was simply given a different generic brand (20mg) that worked better then the Barr brand?
I get online through my phone so it's kinda difficult to look up info. But I have tried looking for pictures of other BLUE 20MG generics for Adderall with no success. Can somebody be cool and help me out? I'd really appreciate it bcuz this is something I'm having a hard time figuring out on my own. Anyway thnx for reading -Ant.
By the way i've contacted my pharmacy already and of course they were no help :(
