Daytrana Patch | ADHD Information

Has anyone tried this with their kids? My 7 year old son has a really difficult time taking pills and this is an option.

Any input would be helpful!

My daughter also has a very hard time taking pills. she is now 11.
She has been on the patch for about 2-3 years now and it has worked out very well.
The few times we changed doses, any minor side effects such as insomnia and loss of appetite only seemed to last for a couple weeks at most.
She wears it for about 7-8 hours each school day, often times not using it on weekends and vacation.
It may be worth a try.

Daytrana is a stimulant med.

We didn't end up going with this -- my son's doctor prescribed Vyvanse and so far it has been really great. Practiced swallowing pills with Skittles. Seems to have worked (a couple of bags of Skittles later).
