DS, age 6, diagnosed ADHD (very impulsive). SPD stimulis seeking, and Gifted. Tried both families of stimulants last fall and the side effects were terrible..aggressive behaviors. New clinic after Psych eval recommending we try Tenex 1mg..
Anyone have any experience with this. I notice mostly on this board that Tenex seems to be used as a compliment to the stimulants ..
Any comments will be appreciated.
We used Tenex as a stand alone. Worked well for a while, but then made my daughter extremely nasty. This seems to be an unusual reaction. I am having to look again at non pharma solutions.
