New meds, need advice, please | ADHD Information

We went back to the nuero for recheck for DS....we told him he was doing well on the Aderall but he gets way too emotional, so the dr. suggested we switch him to Focalin.....i read on the packet that it can become a dependent and also can stop growth.....i got very nervous about it, i filled the RX but now i am worried about giving it to him...
Any thoughts?

focalin is a good one, and has helped alot of kids, grownups as well.
