What a difference three weeks makes! | ADHD Information

Good luck Andrea! I was worried since I thought you were starting last weekend and hadn't seen any posts from you lately. Please let us all know how you make out! It's 3 wks tomorrow, and Kendal finally is starting to get his appetite back, he actually ate his lunch in school today for the first time. I think that is the worst side effect we have seen but most people said it would go away within a month. In the meantime, lots of shakes with milk, ice cream, and Carnation instant breakfast!

Kathleen, I'm so happy for you and Kendal!  It's great to hear things are getting better.  Andrea and psbml5, good luck, I hope they work out for you as well!

Woot-woot!!Congrats..we too are at the beginning of the journey with meds.  It is wonderful to hear that things are going so well.  Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy!

Kathy,

I am so happy for you and Kendal!!  How great he must feel about himself. And how proud you must feel.  Your words hit home when you said how your homelife is now happy and not filled with tension.  We are starting Focalin this weekend since Matt has next Monday off and I can observe him over the 3 day weekend.  I am nervous but reading your update eases my mind.

Yeah Kendal!!

Andrea

Sorry, I just have to brag for a minute...I am the proud parent of the Kindergarten "Star Student of the Week"! This is the same little boy who, before Christmas break, could usually not make it past 9 AM without being in the timeout chair! Three weeks into this medicine journey, we have a happy little boy whose self esteem is growing by leaps and bounds, and a happy homelife, not filled with tension and arguments over Kendal's disruptive behavior.  Kathleen051540191.4948958333
