RISPERDAL | ADHD Information

my son takes adderall XR and as that wears off about 3:00 he takes risperdal to counteract the low he experiencs and it also incressed his appitite and helps him sleep. but I sometimes feel I am over medicating him.  What do you guys suggest or what have you experienced.  also I find he becomes very agitated and aggressive around the same time that his meds. are wearing off..  thanks, Amy My doc prescribed my daughter age 4 Risperdal 1/2 tab in the morning and a 1/2 tab before bed and she has been doing a lot better.  Instead of crying and throwing herself on the floor she tells me she is mad or sad and we talk about it. Her behavior has improved at day-care. It has only been a week so I dont want to get too excited but I hope it works.  Her doc does not want to put her on Ritalin or Adderall just yet.  She had been taking Clonidine for her impulse problems.  She goes to sleep at night instead of playing or trying to wake her sister up.  I hope this lasts!
