risperdal-missed dose!! | ADHD Information

Last night my DH forgot to give my DS his bedtime dose of Risperdal.  He gets and am and pm dose.  This is the first time we missed a dose.  He is off the wall crazy today.  Yelling, irritated, crazy.  I don't know if it's all the snow and the fact we have no school today or if it could possibly be from missing the dose.  Does anyone have any experience with this? Could missing one dose possibly change his behavior so much?  Thanks!I don't know about Risperdal, but if I miss a dose of Straterra I notice big time the next day and sometimes even the day after that. Supposedly, this isn't supposed to happen with Straterra, but I guess my DS didn't get that memo.

He has only been taking it for about three months, so it might not be so bad a little later on down the line. I think he has to keep a pretty constant level, or it's like a mini-start over to build back up again.
