Adderall to Dexadrine? anyone?Anyone start with Adderall, then switch to Dexadrine?? If so what MG's, time peroid before switch, and did you suggest it to the doctor?? ect ect.. thanks! They are both very very similar, both amphetamines the only difference is what part of the molecule they use. Dexedrine contains the dextro (or right) isomer of the amphetamine molecule..and adderall is the levo (or left) isomer of amphetamine molecule. I'm not sure what the dosage equivilancy is but the dextro isomer is supposedly twice as potent as the levo so you might be able to figure it out from there. Just curious why you want to ask your doctor to switch your meds? Is the Adderall not working anymore or you have a bad reaction to it or something? when i was 5 in 1970 i was given dex but that was before even ritilen i take concerta 54 migs now it works vary good for me i have never herd of dex being given in this day and age. |
