My son is 13 yoa with high functioning autism. He was recently prescribed Strattera for ADHD and he also takes Seroquel as a sleep aid in the evening. He was taken off of Wellbutrin and stated the Strattera due to vocal tics. I have noticed that he is developing a bad facial tic where he jerks his head frequently. I am considering asking the doc to change his evening med to Clonidine and stop the Seroquel, but wanted some input on Clonidine. Is it helpful for a sleep aid, and how has it worked with tics?
