hi everyone! its been a while since ive posted on here, but dd is having some issues again... ugh!
shes currently taking .5 mg clonidine 3 times a day and 50 mg trazadone at bed. the clonidine works great for her all by itself, except for the gaps. it seems to last now exactly 3.5 hours... so she has a "gap" until the next dose is taken and kicks in. shes off the walls during the gaps. i dont think adding a 4th dose is a great idea, she hates taking it 3 times a day now... so i was thinking of inutiv, which before i thought was highly expensive and insurance didnt cover. i see people posting about getting it for cheap, is this true?? any experince with it??
the trazadone is still ok for sleep, although she is up as soon as the sun is, room darkner curtains and all.
were also having an issue with anger. well we have all along, now that shes almost 10 though, its getting bad. i have no idea what is usually taken for anger?? any suggestions to research??
we go back to the pschy for our eval next week, so i would love to have some info to go with :) thanks so much everyone!
my son just started the Intuniv with his zoloft and Concerta. The 1 mg is great for him he has his personality back and things are well. We tried to go up to 2mg and he is just too tired all day and night. so I put him down to 1 mg. I feel he needs something more for school and am getting concerned
remember they are starting puberty soon girls earlier than boys and my son is 11 and has started that which makes hin have bad mood swings. The Inuniv has definatly helped things on the mood swing thing. Good luck to you, just know how you feel.
