We have been one week on the Risperdone now and son is maybe more hyper/with shorter fuse. I was expecting him to be sleepier, seems as if hes bouncing off the walls though, he is taking 1mg of tenex as well for adhd. We go back to his doctor in 3 weeks, I know it takes some time for meds to kick in and side effects to go away, but this is all very confusing to sort out, on top of managing the bad behaviors. Its become really diffcult to take him places he insists on walking backwards all the time i think because of his anixety/aspergers and waving his arms around he gets into trouble almost every time, no matter how much we disccus how things are gonna go down before hand. I am repeatly tryign the marble system with him, and we fail at it every day. He simply forgets/does not care to listen no matter how many consquences I pile up. Its turning out to be a long summer, I am praying that by august we will have made some kind of head way.
