We just started our son(6) on Ritilan 5 mg about 2 weeks ago. Mornings have been great byt I can tell when it wheres off in the afternoon. Dr. said I can give him another 5 mg. but does it have to be the whole 5 mg. or can you split it in half for 2.5 mg? Just curious,thanks for any advice.
My son takes chewable Methylin (generic Ritalin) and we split the pills. We split the 5mg pill in half and he takes 2.5mg at a time. I assume it would be the same for the non-chewable type also. Logan'sMom40379.7441435185Thanks for the input.
