Feeling Hyper? What Do You DO? | ADHD Information

I quote one of my doctors who said "When you have all of this energy, it must come out and manifest itself." What positive thing(s)do you do when you are feeling hyper? I love to dance. I take dance classes, always have, always will. If possible,
I'll also go to the gym. If I can do neither, I'll put some music on and go in
a quiet area and dance it out (I know, that's sounds way lame).

I'm lucky enough to live in Brooklyn, NY, so I can take a walk and see
some great stuff when I feel hyper.

I usually always have my laptop with me, and so I can work on some
freelance writing stuff (I'm a fantasy sports blogger/journalist, etc.) and
look for more gigs too.

RollerCoaster Tycoon, the computer game, is also something fun for me
that helps me focus and relax and get some energy out

I try to stay away from things like shopping, cause I'll usually be feeling
impulsive and buy a lot of junk I don't need.

I like to train. My competitive sport is Equestrian Vaulting (acrobatics on the back of a moving horse) but I also cross-train in gymnastics and ballet. I also have a practice barrel (the fake horse we use to train skills before doing them on the real horse) in my garage.

if I'm too hyper to focus on skills training I'll do some conditioning to blow off steam first.

I also love swimming/diving (althogh my local leisure center only has a 1m springboard :( )
