Adderall Side Effects Question | ADHD Information

Hi, I'm new here, first post. I started taking Adderall with a prescription this past Friday, 1 15mg XR capsule in the morning. But anyway, the first time I took it (and today when I took 2 capsules at 7:30am) I got the well-known euphoric type feelings. That lasted for about a good hour.. but then later on in the day, for a long while, I experienced just an overall interest in whatever I was doing. Like an unusual spike in interest. In random things. For instance, today, I found a bunch of football cards in my closet (no clue where they came from, but thats besides the point), so I sorted them and went to beckett.com to check the prices on them to see if they were worth any moola.  Now, my old non-Adderall-taking self would have found this mildly interesting, mainly due to the fact that I like football a whole lot. But this... this was nuts. It was perhaps the most interesting, exhilerating thing I had ever experienced. I was so into it, concentrated, focused and pleasurable about doing it. I didn't feel like the euphoria I was talking about earlier though, so that brings about my question:

Is the experience with the cards I just wrote about part of the first few days of euphoria? Or is that what things are like sometimes when on Adderall? Oh, btw, I experienced the whole card-sorting field day at about 3:00pm in the afternoon. I took the two 15mg capsules at about 7:20am that morning. Alright, thats about it--replies would be greatly appreciated.

jg86 i am curious to see what some of the others users of adderall have to say. I myself do not take adderall or have ever.  I do smoke pot to enhance my interest in various things that need to get done. Problem is that along with the heightened interest for the task at hand comes other things that work against getting the task finished. Like just being generally dopy.

There is an old saying "Man ought to read as inclination leads him, for what he reads as a task will do him little good"

If only they had adderall back then.
