11yr boy on Metadate CD 60 mg, | ADHD Information

Talk to the doctor about a short-acting stimulant to serve as a booster dose.  My child doesn't take one, but I hear they work for about 4 hours.  That'll give you coverage for homework time, but shouldn't interfere with sleep.Hello, I have a couple of questions.  I have a son who is 11 years old and he is on Metadate cd.  I am giving it to him an hour before school at 7:00 am to get it into his system as he just started Jr. High. Math is first subject and his hardest.  He gets off school at 3:20 and I have noticed his meds are pretty much worn off.  Can you tell me if the same thing is happening to you?  He is on the highest dose and I don't know if we should switch or what.  Homework is a battle every night, tears and all.  Can you suggest any thing or tell me your story and let me know if you are on the same meds and what you are experiencing?
