physically ill while on Adderall XR? | ADHD Information

Just started my son who is 7 on 5mg of focalin and no side effects.Two days ago dosage went up 10mg and complains of mild sore stomach.Anyone else?  My son was initially given a dose of 20 mg Adderall XR, and by day 2 was very physically ill from it.  Doc wanted him to stay on it....needless to say I changed docs.  New doc started him on 5 mg for a week, which he handled pretty well except for some excess saliva production.  She had me bump him up to 10 mg two days ago, and today all the same stomach issues are back.  Does Adderall XR make anyone else's child physically ill?  Do you think another med will have fewer side effects?  (FYI, yes I have put in a call to the doc and am waiting to hear back from her). Yes, in the stim family, focalin has the least side effects.Thanks for the response.  I will ask his doc about that med when I talk to her again on Tue.
