My insurance won’t cover testing | ADHD Information

My insurance won't cover testing, My doctor won't prescribe without it.  Aren't there any over the counter options?  I deserve to function well, I just can't afford it.Do you have a special service clinic that works pro-bono. Also local universitys may offer service for experience for students that can help you. Check also with your school district to see if they offer testing.Unfortunately, since I am one of the "working poor" I'm currently covered by our states insurance program.  It makes me ineligable for free clinic services, but doesn't cover very much.  I'm 31 years old, and I am not a student, Our local college won't accept me for testing either.  I've tried to sign up for medical trials, but because I am taking medication for depression, I have been disqualified for testing or drug samples.  I'm really afraid of losing my job if I don't get my condition under control.
