Getting Marbles before I lose mine... | ADHD Information

I sure hope the marble program will work for my son. He seems to be
excited about it. Our mornings are almost unbearable, my husband is only
home to help every third morning so it's all me most of the time. I wish I
had a dime for every time I've said, "Take your medicine", "Get dressed", and
"Eat your breakfast". I would a rich woman! This morning he grabbed a
wooden spoon from the kitchen drawer and hit my hand with it and my
finger actually bruised. His doctor increased the Tenex last week to help
with the aggression, please let it kick in soon.mom2matt40490.4348726852

Mornings aren't fun around here either.

Just so you know, my son had to come off Intuniv because of aggression.

Good luck!

I agree, I had to remove my daughter from Gaunfacine (Tenex generic) because of aggression.  If it getting worse since the introduction, it may not be the right fit.  I hope it is just a matter of time.  guanfacine, tenex, and intuniv are all basically the same thing...I had no probs with guanfacine at all...

My son is 9 as well and I am in the process of making a "check list" for him to go through each morning to make sure he has evrything he needs and has done all he need's to do.

Good luck!

I have heard of a lot of folks having success with this kind of chart using photos or magazine pictures.  Just an idea.  I was almost to the point of making one at one point, but then it chilled and I didn't end up having to do it.

Our mornings are complete torture!  I feel like I've worked an 8 hour day by 8:30am!!  I was just thinking of making a checklist for Matt to use so that I don't have to tell him EVERY LITTLE thing.  Even to brush his teeth!

Good Luck!
