ADHD and seizure disorders | ADHD Information

Hi I am new to this forum and was wondering if anyone
else had a child with ADHD and a seizure disorder? My
daughter is 13 and was diagnosed with both at around 6
Yrs old. We have had a lot of struggles and are still
fighting the good fight. I love my daughter but sometimes
it is very hard. She has no interest in any kind of
personal hygene. I have to help her wash and condition
her hair because she never gets the conditioner
completely out. Finally this summer I told her she needed
to start shaving but she can't, so I do that to. She also
has slept with me ever since she was diagnosed. I go
through the same getting ready for school struggles that
a lot of ADHD parents do but I wonder if this is unusual
for her age?Am I making things worse? How do I help her
be more independent? She doesn't go to any kind of
therapy but maybe she should?????
