Lesson: Don’t Run Out of Intuniv! | ADHD Information

Found this out the hard way earlier this week.  Ran out of Intuniv and because of insurance snafu couldn't get it refilled until today.
 
So that was four days without.  In that time we had to:

a) raise his Focalin from 15 back to 25 to chill him out enough for school
b) watch his verbal tics come rushing back
c) watch him cry at every little thing, and....
d) HE DIDN'T SLEEP FOR TWO NIGHTS EVEN WITH MELATONIN AND BENADRYL!!!!!!!

Not to mention me worrying the entire four days about possible blood pressure rebound (it was fine, I checked it, but still....)

So yeah, if I haven't already said it, Intuniv has been a dream medication for us, and I will never, ever run out again... I promise.
