What does it feel when on Ritalin? | ADHD Information

How do you feel when you take a Ritalin or a type of medication like Ritalin?  Can you remember the different ages or stages of your life and how you felt? I'm interested for a 13 year boy diagonosed since 6 years old.   I appreciate any feedback.I just started taking it.  For the first time in my life  I didnt have a cacophony of  competing thoughts  interfering with  my ability to focus on what I am doing. I dont mean crazy thoughts just normal, what will i do next,  thoughts of my last date,   remembering for a second a forgotten task, a bit of a daydream etc.  I   was much calmer in thought after taking the ritalin.  My thinking  was   not so much slower as  just  focused. It's like  I wasnt spending 3/4 of my mental energy just trying to  keep focused on what I was  doing let alone doing it before. I was also able  to do the boring chores of  my daily life that are as painful as   a filling w/o novaciane to,  normally.
