Personal Experience-Might Help Someone | ADHD Information

Wow, haven't been here in a long time!   Teenage DD has ADD and can't
tolerate stimulant meds. Long story short--began to tic, had
neurological testing, has mild tourettes and mild anxiety disorder. I had
long suspected there was something else going on with the ADD.   If I had
followed my gut when she was younger and investigated further, I could
have saved many a temper tantrum and much turmoil for the family. The
crazy anger she always had went beyond ADD and I knew it, but didn't act
on it. Instead, there were many, many struggles and much stress for
years.
Thanks to different meds for the co-existing conditions, life is infinitely
BETTER and homelife is amazingly improved!
I hope this helps someone who may not have considered something else
could be going on in addition to the ADD. It is not uncommon for there
to be co-existing condition.Right, 30-50% have a comorbid.
